    This book is very comprehensive and gives a ton of information. Most importantly, the book gives step by step directions for many, many poses and in addition gives clear images of the poses. Also, there is a great deal of information on health issues and which yoga poses are good and which to avoid if you have certain health problems. Great book for a beginner.
