    Most importantly, the condition of the book was as specified. Also, international delivery (from the USA to the UK) was prompt, and the price was reasonable for an out-of-print book. Many thanks for that. In regards to the book packaging, although no cardboard was used, reasonably effective packaging (a "bubble mailer", plus multiple layers of "soft" packaging) was still implemented to protect the book during its international transit. Many thanks for that.

    Item price was nice and the shipping was fast. The item as well was properly packaged but the condition was in way worse condition than listed probably was an honest mistake so I won’t blame them I’ve ordered from them before and they didn’t fail me then but this time was a dud. BUT they did refund me immediately no questions asked so that was a plus and a sign in my book of great customer service. Aside from my small issue with the items condition which was resolved quickly I had no problem A++

    A fine language acquisition tool!

    Thank you for the speedy delivery of this Spanish book. It is serving as a great review and instructional aid. It fills in some of the Duolingo gaps and allows opportunities for writing in Spanish. Muchas gracias.

    For everyone

    I've read multiple Spanish learning books and most of them have no order. This book is better, in my opinion, because it guides the learner in a systematic way that makes each chapter flow. It breaks down the language into digestible bites so that anyone can understand.

    Great book; helps you work hard and actually learn Spanish.

    For serious students of Spanish, this is a highly competent and honest presentation of the basics. The author pulls no punches. She tells you straight out that to learn Spanish you need to learn and practice grammar rules (including memorizing the most common irregular verbs), use vocabulary, view and duplicate word order practices and sentence syntax. She helps you with this every step along the way. This approach works far better than the more common one of mostly learning vocabulary and ready- made phrases. Students who take the tune to learn and practice all the material in this book and the more advanced one by the same author will be ready to move on with confidence and understanding to Spanish instruction books at the true intermediate level.

    very helpful book

    I'm over 60 years old and decided to try learning Spanish. I tried an online program from the library but had trouble making much progress. Then I started a CD program that was very helpful, providing much vocabulary. I've made hundreds of flashcards to learn it, and it lets me hear and practice pronunciation. I've made slow progress, and I'm not quite through it. Recently I decided to take a Spanish class at a local community college, but a Hispanic friend convinced me I could do the learning on my own, so I looked for some kind of textbook online. I look at the negative reviews to steer me away from books, but the reviews for Easy Spanish Step-by-Step convinced me it was worth a try.     Excellent for basics...

    This book is great for those wanting to learn traditional Spanish grammar as well as integrate it into comprehensive reading passages. It is very logical, simple and teaches Spanish so that you can learn to ultimately read and speak it correctly. I have seen many examples of how Spanish is taught in schools today and it is often disjointed and mixes in advanced concepts with the basics, thus leaving students confused and disinterested. This book gives you the building blocks - with exercises, appropriate vocabulary - to then enable you to advance to become a more fluent Spanish student. I am bilingual in speaking, reading and writing Spanish - thought not a native - and this is the type of course I took when I was younger in order to get to where I am today with my Spanish proficiency. ...
