"Water Purification Tablets" should come first for word seaches, otherwise self explanatory.
A "good to have" item for any type of travel planned or otherwise. Small strong water tight bottles, easy to use instructions 1 pill of each per l or qt, 1 pill to purify and 1 to get rid of chemical taste. Good for the average user, however.. tablets may be considered “heavy and unnecessary” if you are an ultralight hiker.
I will be taking these tablets along with me on backpacking trips as a secondary method for purification on hiking trips, I have used them before, they are a fine alternative to filtering and boiling.
