Brilliant series
Probably one of the best TV series released of late, very gripping and brilliantly filmed capturing beautiful scenery which complimentary the atmosphere of the film. The acting and script is superb throughout and the underlying story is fantastic. Who would have thought the BBC still capable of making a story about metal detection (sorry detectorists!) so well especially in an era where their shows are so terrible and drab.

An English Comedy Gem
Great English comedy. Very well written with a slow delivery which is droll, but only English comedy is a real gem like this programme. I came across the re-run and thought it quite an unusual subject to build a comedy around. Quite clever and well acted with great performances by Mackenzie Crook and Toby Jones. Can't wait for the next series.
