A Terrific M-Mount 50mm lens.
I bought this lens to use with my Leica M9 and it is a fantastic combination with my M9. I also have the Zeiss Planar 2.0/50mm. That lens is a totally modern lens that is razor sharp. But the C-Sonnar is based on a Zeiss 1930s design and with the CCD sensor in the M9, it produces wonderful sooc jpegs that look like they were shot in that era. Some reviewers say it can be difficult to manage wide open or even at f2. But, I've had no problem focusing it at those apertures.

Still classic
