Surprisingly engaging!
I had heard about "The Orville" and decided to give it a try. As a long-time "Star Trek" fan, I had certain expectations. I have to say, those expectations were met! This is actually more "Star Trek"-y than a certain recent offering from the Star Trek franchise. Yeah, there are a few off-color jokes and the general tone is more light-hearted, as would be expected from a Seth McFarlane series, but this is pretty good! This crew visits alien planets, operates an advanced, highly technological starship and uses both their technology and wits to solve problems. Glad to hear it was picked up for a second season!

Great value for a whole season!
Bought this for my husband. He absolutely loves it! If you’re into sci-fi, I believe you’d enjoy this series too.... everybody is different though.

Funny, worth the time to watch.
I would call this the Star Trek sequel we deserved. Funny with good writing through out. Looking forward to a second season. Very relatable characters as well, seemed based off real people.

Love Love Love THE ORVILLE
As a huge Star Trek fan I was skeptical about this show, but I just adore THE ORVILLE! Brilliant! Funny! Great FX! I just had to buy the DVD so I could watch it over and over again!!!

I liked it.
Didn't watch it because it was on Fox. However I was told by many people that it was worth watching. I really liked the series. So I will buy season two very soon.

If flows better than the original series
I have enjoyed this as much as the original Star Trek, perhaps more. While it follows to show current issues in society it does so in a not so pushy way. Obviously the graphics are way better than the original. The interaction between crew members good without it being too soap opera type.

Orville great show
I love the series from tv. Had to have it at home. Discs played perfectly. I hope the show isn't finished yet. Still hoping for another season.

Enjoy it better if it played RIGHT.
Be nice if I could watch the entire episode without the screen stopping and the jumping to the next scene and some scenes just turn into little pixels like lousy tv reception please contact me would like this made right thank you Nelson Noel .

Best science fiction I've seen original characters
I love it It's so politically incorrect it's so stupid but you cant stop watching it. It's a great series
