Just comic-book fun but with amazing technical quality
As superhero movies go, it's a good one, so long as you suspend your disbelief about the physics of supposed underwater life for air-breathing humans and their ability to accelerate and move at high speed. Also, where is the infrastructure required to make such advanced weapons and modes of transport? But never mind all that - the movie is just a bit of comic-book fun and it's engaging enough. The special effects, picture quality (in 4k with HDR and WCG) and the Dolby Atmos sound are amazing, which is mainly why I bought the movie in 4k. I have no idea why they have Nicole Kidman playing Aquaman's mother, as her character is wooden and her pumped-up lips are ridiculous. Likewise, Willem Dafoe's character won't have actually stretched his acting skills. The battle scenes are marvellous. Overall, I enjoyed the movie and the sound really rattled my bones. Watchable, great for kids
Not bad, though the fish aspect & sea creatures is a bit over the top, would have been better to keep Atlantis as simply advanced civilzation. I bought the kids the animated version, long ago, which is as good. Good effects though, so I gave it 4.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Not a damp squid
