Scenarios, army lists, and full rules for magic and monsters give players the opportunity to command unruly orc warbands, raise armies of the undead, campaign across an antediluvian world as the warchief of a barbarian tribe, or exploit the power of mighty creatures and extraordinary sorcery. An army usually consists of 6–8 units comprised of 6–12 individually based figures. These small units move.

Forget rules that are tied to expensive ranges and set about cracking skulls.
Very simple, very very clever "open architecture" that allows any period, any manufacture, any models, any scale, any basing. Basically you put together a weird / crazy / cool fantasy army and point it accordingly. Then you just have fun. Real wargaming. Real simple. Real fun rules. Mr Mersey, I raise my helm to you. LotR. Accesible and fun skirmish wargaming
Dragon Rampant allows you to build a skirmish based fantasy warband to play out small but fast and fun games, perfect for a more relaxed evening of gaming. The rules are clear and fairly concise, with some room for your own additions, and warband selection is not entirely rigid allowing you to make use of existing models, or to build a warband to your liking. There is not an over abundance of rules and more importantly army and unit types so you don't need to remember whole tomes of information to be good at the game, it is more down to skill and the odd bit of luck.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great little ruleset
A straightforward, fun, accessible and well-balanced set of rules suitable for pretty much any set of fantasy and / or medieval minatures.
