Brilliant and entertaining 70s television
Good remembered theme tune, excellent script writing, acting, editing, directing, and very enjoyable and entertaining,the main actor is James garner not Allan rickman.

70s classic
1974, so many classic cars in this show its worth the watch just to see them, it's easy viewing after a hard day's work and the nostalgia contained in these episodes is great to see, a little glimpse of the good old days, check out the price of a 1974 Pontiac.

So Familiar...
Lightweight 'tec comedy/drama of the 1970s. Jim is a thoroughly 1960s (rather than 1970s) style hero, living in a trashy mobile home by the beach and taking life as it happens, scratching a living in a highly unconventional way. It brings back many memories - power cuts, paste sandwiches, galloping inflation, but a few fond ones. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely fantastic great actor James garner
Grew up with parents watching it. Just caught 2 seasons it absolutely fantastic it would beat any new program made today. Much more in depth than anything new. They really don't make series like they used to. If you don't have these get them you will not be disappointed
