Arguably the standard bearer for the teen sex comedies of the early 1980s, this story of the sexual misadventures of Gary, a hapless, embarrassingly chaste pizza delivery guy hoping to "lose it," has it all: gratuitous pizza parlor settings, a Devo soundtrack, a locker room "penis" contest, weird exchange students, crab lice, a fat-kid schlmiel, and Diane Franklin as the Nice New Girl in Town (a role she reprises in 1985's "Better Off Dead"). good enough
Good movie reviewing the struggles of dating in high school. It starts out funny and turns into drama. What could have been better would have been breaking the fast 3rd act into a longer amount of time. A great song plays at the end of the movie, but they change to another song for the credits which feels odd. The only special feature is the trailer. Don't watch with your grandma!
This movie is classic 80's, I have watched the film numerous times and it still makes me laugh so hard that tears stream down my face. First love sometimes comes with hard lessons
