Chris McQuarrie, writer of The Usual Suspects, saved his best one to direct himself. This one was seriously under marketed and flew right around most people's radar. Don't look for any heroes in this movie. There are only two innocent people in the whole place and one of them doesn't even breathe air yet! Also, this lives up to its title: the firearms in this movie act like real ones, which is weirdly unique given how many other movies have guns as supporting characters. I can see Tarantino's writing style as influential without the work being an imitation at all. Nice original story and such a cool cast of people.
