A brilliant centerpiece for a LEGO City or Space layout!
The 6399 Airport Shuttle definitely has a very particular audience: people with an interest in classic LEGO City or Space from the late '80s and early '90s (which, in my opinion, were some of the best years of both themes), and who already have a substantial collection to justify spending the cash on it. If that's you, this set will be a great addition! The two stations are brick-built with style (with some parts in rare colors that were only ever used in this set, like the swooping 'archways' and red decorative motor cover), and with lovely details such as street lights and a burger stall under the elevated station, a phone booth, bench seating, and more that help make it feel 'lived in'. The famous elevated monorail will also look great winding its way over your city, or it could be repurposed to tie in with the Space monorail sets, 6990 and 6991. The only 'downside' of the set is that it's over 30 years old and highly desirable, so unless you get spectacularly lucky with a yard-sale find, it's going to cost you. I'm sure the set would look fine standing on its own, but I would never have dreamed of getting one if I hadn't already had a lot of classic City and Space to use it with.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
