Wonderfully acted but strange storylines
The first series was very good but this is strange and doesn’t follow the same format. Ian Hendry and Wanda Ventham are great as always but the writer focuses on the boring and far fetched plot to do with being a sleeper agent with boring men in suits and a horrible woman spy. It was much more interesting in the first series when it was all about the Shepherds and their interactions with their neighbours and visitors. But Ian Hendry is a fantastic actor and always wonderful to watch. Sadly left us too soon.

The Lotus Eaters dvd’s
It is a brilliant series.Well acted with great actors and beautiful scenery.We we’re sorry to come to the end,and look forward to seeing it again.

Has not aged well.
It is very dated, and some of the acting was very false, the main characters were alright. I know it was made in the 70s, so might be expecting too much. When we left the set and went outdoors it was better.

Really enjoyed this series the first tim...
Really enjoyed this series the first time round so thought I would give it another go. Loved the setting., acting, and story. A change from all the violent films around.

Amazing Series
Amazing Series. Kept you in suspense and made you buy the second series to see what happens. Shame they do not make more like them today
