Great Collected Perry Mason Movies with Raymond Burr
I've loved Raymond Burr as Perry Mason and Barbara Hale as Della Street, ever since they were on black-and-white TV in the 50s and 60s. By today's drama standards, maybe these full length Perry Mason movies lack the punch, violence and pyrotechnics so typical of Hollywood today. Watching Perry slowly ferret out the truth from a gang of suspects on a seemingly guilty but actually innocent murder suspect, all the while discovering and proving the guilt in court of the actual suspect. Good stories, excellent supporting actors, action is well filmed. The set is priced very reasonably, though the originals seem to have deteriorated since the '80s when these movies were made, so the quality isn't state of today's art. But the colors are good, and you also get four extra "Perry Mason Movies" which were made shortly after Burr's passing, starring Hal Holbrook as a farmer lawyer when he's not pitching hay in the barn as the character they picked for the Burr roles re-cast as Holbrook.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
