A Must have book
This book is essential. In it you are guided by Jesus and Faustina's comments are guided by Jesus so we get two true observances and rules for life. Jesus says so Himself, that he guides everything she writes. I open the book daily at random, not intending to read it, front to back, but in this way I have a daily relationship with Jesus and learn much from a Saint whose sole goal is to do God's will at any cost to her. She is amazing. I also do a "rolling" Novena which is at paragraph #1210. When I get to Day Nine I start over thus I call it rolling. I have actually typed up a page showing where various important prayers and ideas are in the book like paragraph #949 which has the Divine Mercy praises which I am trying to memorize. I bought 40 of these books and give them to people at church. I buy them used for about $7 or so and they are always in good shape. This book is a necessity and must be used daily to appreciate so buy it and put it where you will see it and not forget to read a sentence or two daily or more often. Our Lady says to read the bible daily and of course St Pope John Paul II's great catechism is a necessity but the Diary of Faustina known as DIVINE MERCY IN MY SOUL is an absolute treasure without measure. . Too lengthy a title. A shorter one such as "Divine Mercy - Diary of Saint Faustina Kowalska" would be better
It was well worth purchasing this book which gives a deep spiritual insight into this Polish nun, saint beatified & venerated by Pope John Paul II. I have the film which was excellent, but reading the 700 page diary was & is an extraordinary challenge. Jesus Lives
For Catholics, and all Christians, Christ speaks to us through Sister Faustina, His messages are clear and direct, He lets us know His wishes and reassures us of His unfathomable Mercy, no matter how grave our sins, if we only turn to Him for Mercy and Forgiveness.
