World War 1 comes alive with this set. I remember following it when it was on CBS as a weekly series back in the early sixties.
World War 1 comes alive with this DVD set. I remember following it when It was on CBS as a weekly series back in the early sixties. Robert Ryan does a great job as the Narrator. Unbelievable Filming for that era. Video is very good. Although some scenes are blurry but that is because of the era that it was filmed.

The best documentary on WW1 . Pulls no punches. very straightforward account. Made by CBS tv back in the early 60's way before all this PC stuff
