Hear-warming human story for our times
A very heart-warming story about a curmudgeonly man who is wrapped up in duty and a critical approach to other humans so doesn't realise how capable of love he is. This is brought out beautifully by neighbours with very different values and life-styles who redeem him. As will all films, not all the dimensions of the story are detailed, so if you enjoy it, read the book too.

Really enjoyed this but it might not be everyone's taste!
Absolutely loved this film, very touching but dark too.

Excellent film and very true to the book...
Excellent film and very true to the book. Swedish dialogue with subtitles but this did not spoil the experience.
