Excellent Tourist Carry Bag - Quality and Good Design Decisions
Provides the maximum height of 10 inches to conform to UNITED AIRLINES strict height size for under the seat storage as a personal item carry on. (UNITED = 10" HIGH, 17" LONG, 9" THICK/DEEP. AMERICAN AIRLINES = 14" high, 18" long, 8" deep/thick. Most messenger bags are 12" high not 10" like UNITED DEMANDS. Given that my last Kenneth Cole messenger bag of 12" high, 17" long and 9" thick/deep I had to replace it with this bag. The smaller storage amount in this bag limits how much you can carry unless you fly AMERICAN AIRLINES. This smaller bag has the excellent Kenneth Cole double zippers that are perforated for addition of a small security lock, shoulder strap that can be replaced with a TRAVELON/Pacsafe wire reinforced anti-cut strap, internal and outside useful pockets and good quality construction. I only wish it were able to hold more but UNITED AIRLINES most restricted size limitations restricts the height to 10" and the length to 17". The smaller size means that it will carry better as a tourist purse/messenger bag than a larger messenger bag which would be awkward to carry.
