Not the one I wanted
This printer appeared to be identical to my current printer that no longer worked. However, that was not the case. This printer connected directly to router with ethernet, my old printer was completely wireless. Since the new printer came with little installation instructions, I was trying to set it up using my old software, which of course did not work. The new model was 510g-m, while my old one was 510n-z. I wasted a lot of time going in circles until I figured that out. Once I realized model number was different, I was able to go to HP's site and download the necessary software to get it properly installed. HP Printer
I don't think you can find a new printer like this one, but I wanted it because it was like one I already had for years and had good service from it. I was able to use the same ink that I already had. The ink is not that expensive to buy online and the XL version last quite a while with regular occasional printing. I usually use black, however I try to use the color cartrige sometimes just to keep it from drying out and ready should I need it. Very High value for the price
This unit was excellent in all aspects, particularly photo printing. for the first 4 or 5 years. I mean EXCELLENT! Then the scan mechanism failed. I got another used one and it also is great, but 5-6 years old and is very good except it can't feed photo paper. Good Used HP Priner
The printer was received earlier than expected and was packed very well. It is a similar printer to my old one which started printing "shadow" print and I was not able to correct it. I know the printer and am glad to have found a replacement. My only current concern is that is it making strange noises when starting up and I have received erroneous "paper jam" messages. Hope it corrects itself. As for set up, the particular version of the printer did not have the setup program on the disc included and it required going on line to HP and downloading the program from there. That did work, so no big problem. In general, I am very happy with the purchase. The new printer received is the OfficeJet 4500 G510 n which is replacing an OfficeJet 4500 G510 g-m so the setup program is slightly different.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

1980s HP 4600 Officejet ALLinONE printer/copier/scanner
Turns out these printers changed ALOT during their timespan. There are 3 major versions but all are G510s:a-g, h-m & n-z. And there are sub vers to those which can only be identified by HOW it functions, so if you are looking for parts or a new base Mach USE THE S/N AS A GUIDE too. Setting up SCANNING from your PC Im not sure if that can be done from scratch anymore. I still have HPs install download which I believe is necessary to even use their follow-on non-adobe scan software. Not sure if it will allow the scanning to function. thanks for a fine overall value
This printer works great, and was half the price of the others. It replaces my old one so I can use my old cartridges. Once in awhile it stays stuck on energy saver mode, and I just replug it in. Better than not saving energy.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

The price and shipping (Free) were phenomenal. I don't use the WiFi capability as USB is faster; usually. i did have some trouble setting up to my computer. My fault there. The print quality is very high. I bought refurbished ink cartridges there worked fine. I felt that the HP disc was scolding me for doing so. I will continue to use the Refurbished ones. Won't Cost You a Fortune In Ink!
No better printer in my opinion. Been using the same model for years. You can get 7 - 800 pages before you need to change the ink cartridge. Settings need to be on gray scale and using black ink only. Ink Cartridges are cheap and there is only two. One color cartridge and one black and both are easy to change out. Setting up printer
It was not easy at all to set up. I couldn't do it. Thank goodness my daughter is good with these things, so she set it up. She said it wasn't that easy but she did it. I have only used it for copying and printing from my computer. I haven't used the fax yet, so I don't know about that. Hopefully the fax will work, than all will be good. It was occurred too much paper jammed problems.
It was occurred paper jammed. What was happened paper jam and can't use any more. I ask to repaired shop, but it couldn't. I had throwed away 5 - 6 printer whin 0ne year. Also, Toner was expensived for using long term. I Think about changed mine to replaced with the brother printer.
