The Allen-Bradley 1747-BA PLC Lithium Battery is compatible with a number of Allen-Bradley MicroLogix controllers and other programmable logic controllers. These batteries have a constant charge of three volts and a nominal capacity of 1,000 milli-ampere hours. Made into a compact cylindrical form, the lithium prim thionyl chloride battery is stable if handled properly. Additionally, no special protection gear is required for the regular operation of this battery. Low discharge rate gives the 1747-BA a long shelf life, which maintains its high energy critical for memory backup applications. These batteries provide stable operation between -70 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Connection to the modules is facilitated through three pins and long connectors stranded for extra strength.
