PetZoom
This product is awesome. I have owned one for approximately 15 years. I have used it for a training proposes. It only takes a click to correct my dog. If she is doing something and I tell her no and she ignores me I will click the PetZoom and repeat no and I get instant results. I purchased this PetZoom for my elderly Uncle who walks on our country road for exercise. There are a couple neighbors with unfriendly dogs. He borrowed mine to make sure it would make the unfriendly dogs retreat when pointed and clicked. It worked for him so I purchased this one to hopefully keep him from getting dog bit. April 2017....I feel like I should be a spokesperson for this company through demonstrating I have purchased another PetZoom for a relative of mine. I honestly feel like this is one if the best tools to use with dogs. I have not tried it with cats so I couldn't answer any questions about that. It's great for correcting your own dog and great for keeping the neighbors dog or a stray dog away if you fear you are in danger. I've only had this Not to work on one dog so far. It was some type of shepherd with a lot of hair on its ears. I don't know if that made the difference or not but he did not respond to the PetZoom. So it's not 100% effective but it is still a great tool I hope you enjoy it as much as we have. It's a very effective humane way to train your dog. Good Luck!!!

Love it!!
I bought one of these while shopping one day and took it home. I have 3 adult Labs and as many of you know, they can be quiet stubborn. Placed the 9V battery in it and pushed the button. I noticed 2 of my dogs shaking their heads while the other 1 just stood there. After a couple of times pushing the button, all the dogs would back away from me. So if I give one of them a comment, like "back" (since our male Lab likes to run the back door to our house), I'll push the button and he backs off. The next time he tries again, all I have to do is SHOW him the blue item in my hand, NOT pushing the button, and he backs away from the door. Anytime I've had to use this training tool, I push the button a few times and after that, all I do is show it to a dog and they obey. Should only be used for training purposes...

Seemd to stop working
This product seemed to work for a short while then even though i changed the batteries and made sure i used the alkaline only battery required it seemed to stop working. My cat is a biter which is why i bought it and it was my last hope before possibly taking him to a shelter. Now I'm back to a water squirt bottle which didn't work in the first place. I don't think he could possibly be just ignoring it...

Kinda works-
Did not have the impact I had hoped for. It does seem to help calm our barking dog, but not as much as I hoped. The instructions say the red light comes on when the battery is inserted and stays on. I put in a fresh battery, the little red light did not come on. But when I pushed the button, the device flashed bright red so it was working.

No effect on my two...
I've used this multiple times on two maltipoos. Neither dog gives any hint that it has an effect. They continue to bark. I do have to say that the item came recommended from someone who has had positive effects on a larger, older mixed breed dog. I'd say it is worth a try if you are at wits end.

It's a miracle!
This product is amazing, it changed our lives! After 6 years of barking uncontrollably at every person and animal, now all I do is show my dog the device and say no bark. I've only tapped it maybe a dozen times. It doesn't hurt his ears, he's just surprised, looks at me startled by the strange sound and stops barking. It's unbelievable! Anytime he sees another dog, since he's a rescue from a house of animal hoarders, he puts on a big show barking, spinning and scares other dogs away. Now he's quiet, peaceful happy, and has a bunch of friends! LOL

Love it !!!!
I have had to use this twice on my dog to keep him from jumping on people. Now all he has to do is see it in my hand and he stays down. Love this product. It also keeps him from clawing at the screen door.

Excellent product when used correctly.
I have used these for years. Highly recommend. However make sure you know how to train a dog. If dog barking you say ‘No Barking’ and press the button. You use a dogs name only on positive commands. Fido heel. Etc.

Good product
I haven't had it long but my dog responds to it and has stopped barking at my neighbor. But I have not yet had the opportunity to work on some other issues.. Fingers crossed

Great product but not a "Magic Item"
Been using this training tool for years. This one was a gift. Used to reinforce the "NO" command. Just don't over use it and it works great. This has little or no affect on untrained dogs.
