Good Movies Make You Buy Them!!!
Viewed this movie years ago, several times!!! Great actors, like Nick Nolte, and the awesome plot of cops versus crime, makes it a good one!!! Grand Slam Movie
Chas Palmetteri was a great supporting actor playing Nolte's partner as the cool headed one. Melanie Griffith played her part well and was still beautiful even though they had her made up as plain housewife. And Connelly was all sexed up and did not over act her part despite being the center of attention. Treet Williams and John Malcovich rounded off the supporting cast. The plot was challenging and suspensful. All around exceptional film that seemed to not get the credit it deserved.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Well written, good acting, good story

Sleeper that really cooks with a stellar lineup of actors!

Nolte at his best
They captured 1950's L.A. perfectly. I think this one one of Nick Nolte's greatest roles. He had the same mystique that Jack Nicholson had in "Chinatown". The musical score by Dave Grusin is absolutely fantastic... almost hypnotic. I put this movie right up there with "L.A. Confidential" and "Chinatown".Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
