  • Very good knife with BAD scissors

I have number of Victorinox knives. Among them, I havre Victorinox Classic SD which is 58mm and as all Victorinox knives has PERFECT scissors. The only problem is, that in a while you may have to replace its spring. Yes, those springs are widely available, but I wanted something sturdier. So, I wanted something still relatively small (I keep it on my neck), but a little bit bigger and I bought Wenger 16940 Esquire that is 65mm. I bought Wenger not only because it is just a little bigger, but also because it has a lot better scissors spring that you never have to replace. Also, I read and heard that since those scissors are serrated you never have to sharpen them. Of course, I din't believe it, but still decided to try. It turned out that Wenger scissors are absolutely garbage comparing to Vic scissors. Yes, you can resharpen them, but it is not so easy because it has some kind of stopper and you have to get rid of it first. Otherwise, it is impossible to sharpen the scissors. t So, the knife itself is pretty good, but if you plan to use its scissors often enough and also want to use it for trimming your finger nails, FORGET it. You better buy some Victorinox knife.

  • Knife is great! Had to make my own flat...

Knife is great! Had to make my own flat-blade screwdriver out of the dull knife blade, but was easy with a grinder.

  • Compact and useful.

Compact pocket knife with all the features I like to have available: sharp blade, nail file, scissors, with toothpick and tweezers. All very useful without being large and heavy.

  • multipurpose item easy to carry

Very secure shipping, quality product, I will probably wish that I had bought two, since this model is no longer in production.

  • Good little knife

Better made then the Victorinox one of the same size. To bad Victorinox bought out Wenger and then did away with the brand.

  • Excellent small knife.

This is my third pocket knife just like this. It's been discontinued, so I wanted to stock up on a lifetime supply. So I bought 3.

  • Great Small Pocket Knife

I like to carry a pocket knife--never know when you will need one. I have and use the Wenger Teton--a larger and heavier pocket knife but quite usable. The 2 functions I use mainly are the knife blade and the scissors. The Esquire has a smaller blade and the same size of scissors. Being smaller than the Teton, makes a difference in my pocket. Both make great carrying knives.
