Darkly Entertaining!
Having viewed an earlier edition of this story, I was looking forward to experiencing this updated version. Unfortunately, it did not turn out to be as exciting as I had hoped. But this may have been more the fact that I was already familiar with the plot. There were no surprises but it was interesting.

What a great movie!! The scenery is incredibly beautiful in the Orient. The actors are so good. A great story or inherent justice and very interesting.

Great Movie
There have been three major remakes of this movie from the amazing novel by Agatha Christie. In my opinion, this one is truly the best. The only other remake that was quite good was the remake of 1974. This version is really an excellent movie and in my opinion, more realistic than the earlier versions. GREAT MOVIE! I will need to say that no one can play, “Poirot,” better than David Suchet!

A Mystery Worth The Time
This movie is not to be missed. With a great cast-Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, etc. they give the detective Pirot a run for his money trying to figure out who the guilty party is. The ending was a surprise, not one you would suspect since there is nowhere for the guilty person to go. A different spin in this movie worth the time to see. The cast does a wonderful job in each character they portray.If you are a fan of mysteries this is the one to get.

Well done!
I found the entire movie to be quite good. The visuals are stunning. Kenneth Branagh carries the film expertly and it was great fun.

FASTASTIC version of a Christie-based classic!
Fantastic movie based on a classic Christie novel. Highly recommend this new take on the story and Kenneth Branagh's version of Poirot. We need more movies with like this with great acting and story, while keeping the graphic violence in most files; out. A wonderfiul movie for anyone over the age of 13 (PG13 rated) looking for a good mystery and beautiful cinematography.

Taking the law into your own hands when there seems to be no justice
The earlier version with David Suchet shows more of the internal struggle with his conscience as he (Poirot) weighs whether to see the real murderers pay for taking the law into their own hands.
