The fit on the blade is snug enough so it does not slip off accidently. the material it is made of is very sturdy. The price was very fair for the product, much better than offered on other sites.

In my opinion, it should not have been an option for this tool. I did not expect to have to purchase a blade guard seperately with such a quality too
