To go where no man has gone before
I am a big fan of Star Trek and own all of the original series, so I just had to have the new movies . I love all 3 of the new movies, each one keeps you engaged in the action and sitting at the edge of your seat. If you like Star Trek you will enjoy these movies.

Better the 2nd time.
This film I feel is weakest of the last three. But, watching for a second time, I found it to be better than I remembered. I found the added extras made the movie even more interesting. Out of five stars. I'd now give it three and a half.

Too over the top
Seems made according to some generic and politically correct menu checklist, action-check, diversity-check, LGBT representation-check. And oh-by-the-way let's throw a script together to go with the checklist. Still pretty good, but not nearly enough story and character development for the Star Trek tradition. Some good actors help carry the weak script.

3rd installment
I am NOT a fan of JJ Abrams Kelvin timeline stories. Move beyond the original characters, do not reimagine them unless you are showing more missions. Still, the movie is fun to watch and the characters have good chemistry

Good action, good story, and keeps the Star Trek universe alive will adding to it! Well done! :)
