A series well worth seeing
This series escaped my notice for twenty years, partly because I was assumed that a sitcom about priests could not be very funny. I was wrong. I watched the first two episodes on Amazon Prime and I was hooked. I wound up watching the full three seasons and immediately watched them again. Then I found this DVD set, long out of print, but quite worthy of collecting. Part of the fun of this set are the extras, plus the amusing insights in the commentaries. Great writing and likable characters make this a fantastic series
I came across this series by accident on the internet and started reading people's reviews. They were so positive that I thought to check out an episode on YouTube. Within 5 minutes my husband and I were hooked! We bought the entire series which contains 25 episodes. Love the Irish accents and preposterous stories. It doesn't get any better
I have seen many episodes many times. I love British humor. I believe Americans must have a special gene to understand it. I honestly see something more with every viewing. Laugh out loud ridiculously funny!

Father Ted is Hilarious
