This is an exceptionally basic kit and ideal for beginners. The price is low, the kit is simple and the fit of the parts very good with little or no filler required. Detail is limited, partly due to the reduction in parts, but accuracy appears reasonable and the option of open or closed canopy is excellent. Being well priced, this kit makes a handy donor kit for conversions and the canopy options help stock the spares box. This kit also has the virtue of being a mark of Bf109 not usually offered and contains parts for other marks adding further to the spare parts box (G6 "bulges", RVI cannon pods, two sets of spare mainwheels, extended tailwheel and another tailwheel). It is not clear if the main sprues are compatible with some of the alternative parts and some parts are definitely alternatives for a different kit(s). Good points: Subject matter. Price.
