Along with featuring an exquisite and sophisticated design, it is an all-metal lens, which makes it sturdy and durable.With its high speed and wide angle, the Olympus M. Zuiko f/2 lens can capture photos ranging from landscapes to people in motion. This camera lens has a single focal length of 12mm, which ensures a remarkably sharp photograph. Due to its varifocal, wide-angle design, using this equipment results in clear and precise images regardless of lighting or environment. Whether you need to take indoor pictures or photograph street scenes, Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED provides the advanced focal perspective to capture the image. This tool also allows you to take pictures that require a wide frame from a considerable distance. Easily grip and rotate the seven-blade circular aperture to establish your long-range distance, which has a minimum focus distance of 7.9 inches. To help maintain the appropriate distance from the subject, this tool has a distance indicator as well as a snap ring that monitors focusing. In this way, you can pan across scenes or zero in on subjects without the risk of blurriness.Olympus M.Zuiko 12mm lenses each have a functional, full metal body that captures good shots in a variety of weather or lighting environments. Must Have Lens for your bag
Purchased this lens for my travel kit and it has been the best purchase I've ever made. It's going to be on my camera all the time now. Why? 1. Top notch quality glass & optics 2. Excellent Aperture - that's why you're looking at a Prime Lens anyway right? And inside of the museum/palace where they don't allow a flash - it's perfect because it works in such low light. 3. Field of View - PERFECT for both street photography, landscape, and those "tourist" shots that don't fit in a traditional lens. 4. Light weight I have had very good luck doing close focus wide angle with this lens as well, another bonus. I bought a 17mm prime lens as well, as reviews pointed to that lens as better for "street" work - but this one actually makes a better image I feel.Purchased this lens for my travel kit and it has been the best purchase I've ever made. superb WA lens for MFT
Making a good wide angle lens for a tiny MFT sensor is a tough job and Olympus once again proved it's the best in this class. The 12mm f/2.0 has its all: sharp, wonderful color, fast focusing, minimal CA wide open. It's small, light, well built and overall feels just right ! I'd say it's a bit too expensive, but if you want perfection, you have to pay for it ! :) Overall I highly recommend it to everyone looking for top wide angle performer.Making a good wide angle lens for a tiny MFT sensor is a tough job and Olympus once again proved it's the best in this class. The 12mm f/2.0 has its all: sharp, wonderful color, fast focusing, minimal CA wide open. It's small, light, well built and overall feels just right ! I'd say it's a bit too expensive, but if you want perfection, you have to pay for it ! :) Overall I highly recommend it to everyone looking for top wide angle performer.

Just Wide Enough
This lens is perfect, not too wide but brings in just a bit more view than the 14-42mm that the camera came with. Seems great for landscapes and I look forward to shooting in some low light conditions. Bonus, it came with a lovely lens hood!

Excellent lens for any M43 Application.
It is a great lens, but since I have to sell the DJI Osmo Pro X5, I don't need this lovely M43 prime lens anymore. I already have 12mm covered in zoom lenses for my existing Panasonic and Olympus M43 kits, so can't justify having this one, too. Sold it to a happy buyer!
