Superb performance but poor sound
This performance from Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco on December 15, 1978 is absolutely superb - however, something went wrong in the soundboard radio broadcast of the show. It seems to only capture one channel of the sound of the band. You hear Bruce's voice and guitar just fine as well as Roy Bittan's piano when it comes forward. But you are missing the richness of all the band's players blending together as a seamless whole, which is an essential element and proof of the E Street Band's greatness. Which is really unfortunate, because this is a superlative performance. So you end up hearing a great show with sub-par sound.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
