Works great with one minor adjustment
This shockmount is ideal for my purpose. The hinging point is placed a lot higher than the official shockmount and because of that the whole thing isn't that top heavy. Due note that the Yeti is screwed tight but it's still a bit loosely wobbling in this shockmount, I simply fixed this by adding a piece of cloth, specifically those anti scratch foam/cloth thingies for under your furniture, on the inner front side of the shockmount so the microphone fits in there nice and tight. The recording quality of our material went up drastically now we finally added this shockmount, it filters out all the table vibrations and other sounds! Knox Gear, bit knocked over ;)
Great product, fits the blue yeti well, even though I don't think it is an official brand from my understanding. Could be wrong. Although one tiny quirk is that the disc is askew in the angle of how the bands hold it. I think some adjusting will get it to work, but that is a lot of work getting all the bands on and off. Doesn't work with the Blue Yeti X microphone.
