The textbook was better than described. It looks like brand new! The price was appropriate for the type of textbook that it is. The appearance and quality of the textbook was impeccable. The shipping took about 2 weeks to arrive, but the textbook was well worth the wait. Seller packaged my textbook beautifully which ensured that it arrived unharmed and in perfect condition. • Unadulterated history of the U.S.

It's great to read history as it was written at the time and not get the glossed-over, sweetened-up version. I'm referring to the beginning of Zinn's book that cites actual accounts from men's journals of the conquest of indigenous peoples in "the New Land." Quite horrific! It is a slow read for me, but very worth it. I'm eager to continue on to the more present age and see what my high school history books decided to hide.

I used to wonder why the US government broke all 300+ treaties they made with the Indians. The 'law' was used just as effectively to take advantage of whites with no land, servants, and poor farmers. And it goes without saying, black slaves. I can only read a chapter at a time, before putting it down and being disgusted that I am human, then trying to figure how/why people get so bad. I'm retired, taught college & middle school, this book is an essential read for any history buff/teacher. Also ...

If you would like to know the history of our country from the very very beginning, then you cannot do better than this book. I really appreciated the fact that this book arrived from the seller in near perfect condition. Thank you.
