Ingenious, smooth and sturdy
Does almost infinitely adjustable buttonholes! Does not do keyhole buttonholes, but prettily rounded ones of in a wide range of length, width, stitch density and center width by just adjusting the buttonholer itself. Needed a bit of cleaning and oiling, but worked smooth as butter afterward. It is all metal and looks to be good for another 80 years. Will work on just about any low shank straight stitch or center homing machine.

Neat vintage item
Amazing technology for it’s time. Newer models are easier to use but lack the flexibility of setting button hole size.

Eighty Years Old and Looking Good
The buttonholer, its box and instructions were all in excellent condition. It is a good addition to the attachments for my vintage machines.
