A bit dated but still a fun watch.
It's looking a bit dated but if you loved the 80's there are many references that you will identify and despite its age is still entertaining. The pastiche of London Musicals is superb. Jeff Goldblum has improved with time although Rowan Atkinson looks just the same, as does Emma Thompson. Written by Richard Curtis and directed by the late Mel Smith it is a very British film but is none the worse for that. It's a romantic comedy that, although may not any longer have you rolling around with laughter, will still bring a wry smile and even a giggle here and there.
