In this action thriller from director Tony Scott, rookie train operator Will (Chris Pine) and grizzled veteran engineer Frank (Denzel Washington) learn that a runaway locomotive carrying carloads of dangerous chemicals is headed for Will's small Pennsylvania hometown, where his wife and child live. In order to save the day, they must figure out how to catch up to the rogue engine, and stop it before harm comes to the town. Standing in their way is Galvin (Kevin Dunn), the head of the company who is more interested in saving the stock price than lives. Great classic style movie made with actual cameras and real props, not CG effects (Plus Denzel).
This is an amazing movie about an accident, talent and respect. The big company doesn't respect their experienced workers, the older workers don't repect the younger workers and vice versa, the children don't respect their father, the mom doesn't respect her boyfriend who is only a working man, the office workers don'r respect the young lady coworker who really does all the work. Well, one fine day, they all get to learn a lesson about respect when the pooh really hits the fan, and everything goes wrong. Just like it says "Unstoppable" is a full-throttle thriller.
I do not like blood, guts and eyeball movies, with violence "for no reason" and "curse words" because the characters creators "weren't intelligent enough to use real words." It was nice to sit down and actually watch an exciting, edge of your seat movie with a good ending.
