Not sure what you are looking for here.
Haven't used the DVD yet, but I do like the movie. Seen it several times. Price was great. Hope the DVD is in good shape.

Great DVD another masterwork from Kubrick
Whether people think it runs too long in spots, or is too visual in style without a lot of substance, 2001 A Space Odyssey is one of Kubrick's best works imho-right up there with Dr. Strangelove and A Clockwork Orange-fantastic visual effects, a solid storyline, and, of course, HAL as one of the most horrifying examples of AI gone wrong ever

The "Stanley Kubrick Collection".
The Stanly Kubrick Collection Has most of films I seen. I am over 80 years old and I have yet to see a poor-quality movie from Kubrick.

the movie is ok for 1968 and a refresher on memory
i have not seen this movie in a very long time there are parts of it i didnt care for but i adapted to it especially when the uss discovery went to jupiterwhere the hal 9000 computer malfunctioned and dave bowman disabled the logic circiuts actually he shutdown the computer

The movie itself is great, but the video is somewhat murky. Probably just that the movie is old

Great classic!
This is a classic I enjoyed when it premiered in 1968. I had forgotten how dramatic this movie was then and now 50 years later. The packaging and the disc were immaculate. Thanks!

From the first time I saw it in the Princess Theater in Crested Butte, Colorado 50 years ago, it's been THE movie to judge all other movies against.
