I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience Please allow me to clarify: the item you received was not used, but it was tested prior to shipment, as we test all units with water to ensure they are fully functional before they are sent out. We always drain the units after testing, but occasionally some residual moisture may remain in the tank or tubing. This is not an indication of prior use, but rather of our effort to ensure the unit working.
