    Like buying lens insurance.

    I haven't been into photography for long, but something I read when I bought my first camera sticks with me. "Always use a UV filter on your lenses". Put it on when you buy the lens, take it off to clean it when it's taken the abuse for your lens, and replace as needed. I have never had a filter save a lens, because I've been lucky so far, but I want one on there incase it does happen. Tiffens seem to be crystal clear, have a good reputation and don't break the bank.

    Great filter!

    I have used TiFFEN filters (various lens sizes) and found these work great on my lens, in term of optical as well as keeping my lens from dust and unwanted scratches. Besides, the quality of TiFFEN filter also so good with me. Highly recommended. Thanks.

    Nice filter

    Have only used it for about 100 pics. Used indoors and outdoors while on vacation in Jamaica. Consistently clear pics and color seems to be spot on. Most of shots outdoors was full sun. Indoor pics were no flash, long exposure on tripod shots.

    Great Filter

    This is a great filter and a good buy if you use filters to protect your front lens element (I do on all my lenses). No visible image impact, just good quality protection.

    Super value filter.

    A splendid adage to my lense. The UV is high quality awhile the filter protects the lens as it should. Just make apply minimal grease on the thread in order to unscrew the filter especially if you leave them on for a longer period of time. I saw instances where people could not remove the filter due to screwing then dry and tight. Just a pro suggestion. Super value making Tiffen a very high quality product.
