  • One of the better bird guides

Contains beautiful illustrations. It also has a quick index for rapid ID of new birds. I bought the Western version to go with this one and recommend the Nat Geo bird books for newer enthusiasts or experienced bird watchers.

  • I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in wild bird watching.

Great Bird Book. Don't be fooled by it being a paperback book. It's not like the old paperback books we used to read. This is a high quality made item with black thumb marks that make it easy to use.

The gift is for my mom for Mother’s Day as she has a newfound interest in “birding” as I like to call it. Now she can identify as she drinks her morning coffee!
