Reliable watch, great and not just for the money!
I totally have been falling in love with the Vostok Komandirskie and this is my 5th one for now... They all keep time very well, this one is off by just 3 seconds a day which is simply good for any mechanical watch let alone in this price range. They can take a beating and are maybe the best watch-deal of the planet so you don't have to be too afraid to damage them as they are easily replaceble. Don't be afraid of the 10 years life span some sellers list; it means the watch can go (on average) 10 years without servicing it which is a lot longer than with most other watches. The watchband is usable (and a lot better than with cheap chinese watches) but not very impressive; I switch them for a Zulu strap in most cases. Despite having other (much more expensive) watches most days I wear a Vostok and see no reason why not. Great watch. Cheap strap.
The clean black, red and white of the watch face looks classy and sophisticated, while the chunky bezel and case gives it a nice rugged look. I think this watch could be worn equally well in the corporate boardroom, or the ruins of Pripyat. The watch is slightly smaller than I expected, and the numbers and markings probably aren't suited to someone who needs glasses to read. My only issue with the watch is the the weak strap. The buckle isn't very strong, and seems to struggle under pressure. I will be replacing the leather strap with a NATO strap anyway, since the strap is at its limits with my wrist size.

Good value for money.

Great value watch
It needed a few days and a few winds to achieve the 36 hours run time but it can now do this. I changed the strap to a fabric NATO style as I find these fit me better but the supplied strap looked good for the watch and the price. The fast date advance is a good feature, it keeps time well, good dial face, very clear to read and it looks and feels a lot more expensive.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

VOSTOK WATCHES
I collect Russian watch, particularly Vostok. If you are not familiar with Vostok products be assured they are very well made and amazing value for money ,they are very hardy watches and can take a lot of hard use without any problems. Great value
