Sharif is one of the best "Peters" one could ever imagine - like an Albert Schweitzer of our time.
Omar Sharif brings out Simon Peter's passion and compassion as a trailblazer for Christ. Sharif plays Peter with heart, soul, strength, intelligence and great faith in the Lord he serves. His is a believable Peter, willing to lead and follow as directed by his Lord and by his own inner courage. His stalwart loyalty to Christ and his love of people, even his enemies, shine brightly.

Well worth the three hours!
I can't say anything bad about this movie. In fact I was so glued to my seat that I didn't get up until it was finished and that was three hours later! I didn't even know it was a three hour movie until afterwards. All the actors were awesome.
