    I would say it was as described, but it was actually even better than expected, really lovely item and came very well-packed for shipping. Lots of care taken in the handling for shipping. Price for both item and shipping cost were more than fair. I have a recipe book that came out two years after this one by the same publisher. My grandmother used it as a regular go-to cookbook her whole life & then it came to me & I still use it too. Very excited to now have this companion volume to go with it!

    The Unhungry Vegan

    Ok, so I really want to eat less meat. But whenever I cook the recipes I find online I end up adding salt, pepper, hot sauce or something to satisfy my taste buds. I was searching online for a great vegan restaurant. I ran up on the menu of this restaurant in California. I wanted to recreate some of the items on the menu. (I live on the east coast and will not be travelling to California anytime soon.) Little did I know the restaurant was owned by someone who won something on the food network. (I don't watch much TV.) Anyhow the restaurant is owned by Chloe Coscarelli. Thru all the searches I discovered that she authored cookbooks.     Excellent for people just learning vegan cooking

    Lots of good vegan versions of popular dishes. I like that most dishes don't require too many ingredients. Or requiring hunting for exotic ingredients. And most dishes don't take too long. Also has instructions at the end for making your own basic ingredients.

    Really helpful for a new change in diet

    After recently switching over slowly to vegan and being overwhelmed I found this book. It has been of great help and is simple to understand and make, letting me ease into vegan at a comfortable pace.
