Thetford however might have included some instructions to the effect that the installation screws will cut their own thread in the main body of the hinge. Make sure the screws are aligned 90 degrees to the hinge body and use an electric drill to rotate the screw. I'd also appreciate knowing how much torque to put on the large grub screws when the glass lid is installed into the hinges.
