    Rory at his peak. Amazing sound quality makes one wonder why this wasn't released long ago.

    If you haven't had a good dose of Rory in a while, grab this 3 CD set of treasures that sound top notch. The first 2 discs are the cream of this set and are highly recommended, especially at this price. I've been listening to Rory for over 40 years and this is the most welcomed set to come along. Get it before they start going up in price. It's so good, I may get a second as a backup. Amazing stuff and highly recommended.

    Master of the Stratocaster

    It's a beautiful thing to see the RORY GALLAGHER name on the fabled Chess record label. By all accounts,his genial manner went a long way in showing, not just as an excellent musician, how fine his character went on to best exemplify his demeanor as a wonderful person as well. His music is more than suited to wear the badge of this coveted honor. What we have here (hear) is a somewhat career spanning overview of his solo work basically,with the emphasis on more or less outtakes,different versions altogether or simply straight up unreleased material,as well as live cuts. With his steady band in tow and a few surprise,more-than-welcome guests, what we have here (hear) is indeed a Bluesy Rockin' good time.

    A+++ KILLER set!

    32 tracks of the 36 cuts are previously unreleased! A stunning compilation and long overdue. Great packaging, sound and liner notes. Highly recommended!

    All Rory Gallagher's Songs Are Top Notch. This Compilation Is Also

    CD arrived in timely manner in excellent condition, I ordered the CD so I can play this in the carousel that plays onto the deck outside. I play vinyl in the basement. I could not wait for this CD as I have been a fan since the early seventies. No point in extolling the greatness of this blues master musician. His first band, Taste, sums it up, Rory had class, taste, passion. Every song is a revelation and delight to listen to. My only wish is this came out before now so I would have many more years to cherish this beauty.
