Praise for The Grimm Conclusion : * "If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and Gidwitz deploys his successful formula of bloody happenings and narratorial intrusion in his third and final installment of unexpurgated fairy tales. ... Underneath the gore, the wit, and the trips to Hell and back, this book makes it clearer than ever that Gidwitz truly cares about the kids he writes for." --Publishers Weekly starred review "Entertaining story-mongering, with traditional and original tropes artfully intertwined."--Kirkus Reviews "The conclusion to the trilogy that began with A Tale Dark and Grimm (2010) and continued with In a Glass Grimmly (2012, both Dutton) is equally gorey and awesomely dark. ... As innovative as they are traditional, the stories maintain clear connections with traditional Grimm tales while creatively connecting to the narrative, and all the while keeping the proceedings undeniably grisly and lurid. ... Readers will rejoice."-- School Library Journal "Adam Gidwitz continues his eerily funny Grimm fairytale takeoffs with fresh takes on Cinderella, Rumpelstiltskin, and the Juniper Tree. Perfect for snuggle up reads."--Barnes & Noble "Entertaining story-mongering, with traditional and original tropes artfully intertwined." -- Kirkus Reviews, Praise for The Grimm Conclusion : * "If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and Gidwitz deploys his successful formula of bloody happenings and narratorial intrusion in his third and final installment of unexpurgated fairy tales. … Underneath the gore, the wit, and the trips to Hell and back, this book makes it clearer than ever that Gidwitz truly cares about the kids he writes for." -Publishers Weekly starred review "Entertaining story-mongering, with traditional and original tropes artfully intertwined."-Kirkus Reviews "The conclusion to the trilogy that began with A Tale Dark and Grimm (2010) and continued with In a Glass Grimmly (2012, both Dutton) is equally gorey and awesomely dark. ... Synopsis
From Newbery Honor-winning, New York Times bestselling author Adam Gidwitz Did you know that Cinderella's stepsisters got their eyes pecked out by birds? Really. And that Rumpelstiltskin ripped himself in half? And that in "The Mouse, the Bird, and the Sausage," a mouse, a bird, and a sausage all talk to each other? (Okay, I guess that one's not that grim.) Those are the real fairy tales. But they have nothing on the fairy tales in this book. For more twisted tales look for A Tale Dark and Grimm and In a Glass Grimmly . * "Underneath the gore, the wit, and the trips to Hell and back, this book makes it clearer than ever that Gidwitz truly cares about the kids he writes for." -- Publishers Weekly starred review "Entertaining story-mongering, with traditional and original tropes artfully intertwined."-- Kirkus Reviews "As innovative as they are traditional, the stories maintain clear connections with traditional Grimm tales while creatively connecting to the narrative, and all the while keeping the proceedings undeniably grisly and lurid. . . .Readers will rejoice."-- School Library Journal, From the Newbery Honor-winning, New York Times bestselling author -- with all new cover and interior illustrations by Dan Santat Did you know that Cinderella's stepsisters got their eyes pecked out by birds? The package got lost through the USPS. Seller was great in tracking it down. You can tell by the delivery box it had traveled the long way to get here. The seller deserves an A+ for communication. The item was also as described and looks great and it’s new home. Thank you.

This is a scam. The book came directly from Barnes & Noble (it's the return address on the package). The book is currently available for $20 with free shipping - they charged me $48. They are just price gauging listings and ordering it from the B&N website. The package has a receipt from B&N with him as the buyer and me as recipient. Seller denied my return request and ignored my message. This is what gives eBay a bad name. This is fraud. Awful seller.

  • Creepy and funny fractured fairy tale!

This book series is awesome - creepy, funny and good for kids who enjoy fractured fairy tales. My children are 9 and 11 and both love this series.
