This book is being rereleased in 2013 and I received an advance copy from NetGalley for review. This book explains the basics of spiritual warfare and also serves as a practical guide. There are prayers at the end of the chapters designed to lead a person in prayer - not to be some kind of secret formula. The book is theologically conservative and cites well-known and respected leaders in the Christian faith (for example, Warren Weirsbe). Overall, I think this is a great guide for Christians to turn to when they need a fast and practical introduction to spiritual warfare. I recommend it alongside Dr. Ed Murphy's The Handbook for Spiritual Warfare. The world isn't what it seems on the surface and almost no one realizes it.
