    Easy to read and well organized

    Essentials of Oceanography is a good comprehensive intro to the subject. The content is easy to read with plenty of illustrations to bring the subject matter together. The only negative is the size of the type font. This version of the book is the international one and its overal size is smaller than the U.S. edition; therefore, smaller type font that taxes the eyesight of older readers.
