The price and the service on this item are good. However, upon opening it, I believe the face of the watch looks cheap. I really do not want to wear it. I have not tried it on nor set the time or started it. I would like to return it and need to know what the next step should be.

My Best Watch For Many Years. Extremely Easy To Read.
I have about 10 watches, ranging from contemporary elegance (Movado) to utilitarian (work and sports). Of all the watches I use, I find this one to be on my wrist 95% of the time. I have had this same watch for many years and decided to purchase a backup/spare in case the one I have becomes too beat up to wear. What I love about this watch is: Numerals large enough to be easily read, with a black on white/cream contrast that is extremely easy to see in all conditions. The Indiglo illumination at time, with the touch of the stem button to light it up, while depressed. I can always see what time it is, if I wake up in the middle of the night and need to see the time. I can wear it when I go swimming or boating. And, most importantly it keeps perfect time. Dress watch at a bargain.
This Timex is a classic design, the face lights up, the hands are luminous, and the day and date are handy features. Of course, you need to fiddle with it once a month, to reset the date, as it's not digital. The body on this Timex is not too big, and not too small, it's silver finish and crystal face are tough, and still look like new. I especially like the finely woven watch strap, it's very comfortable, and quality made to last. If you don't need the bells and whistles of a digital, and you want the dressy elegance of a simple watch, the Expedition line of Times offers satisfying choices.This Timex is a classic design, the face lights up, the hands are luminous, and the day and date are handy features. Of course, you need to fiddle with it once a month, to reset the date, as it's not digital. The body on this Timex is not too big, and not too small, it's silver finish and crystal face are tough, and still look like new. Stem fell off for no reason, a possible design flaw
It does what I wanted. I wanted a stylish watch with a large easy read. By easy I mean I do not need reading glasses or bright light to tell time. It looks like it could withstand heavy treatment. I initially rated this watch five stars. Unfortunately, the stem fell off. When I checked other reviews I saw that this was a problem.

Great price point for a venerable brand.
I’ve worn men’s watches for over 50 years, and I’m a woman. I’m also old and need a watch face I can actually read without my glasses. My Swiss Army watch finally died and I needed a stylish, sporty watch to replace it, without the sticker shock. Timex is a tried and true brand. This watch hits all my requirements and it’s quite dashing to look at. Thanks.

Works, good value with a couple of small issues
Pros: Simple, easy to use, keeps time and date well. Cons: Indigloo light doesn't illuminate the da/date area. Not a big deal since you normally don't need to know the date in the middle of the night...but still. Bigger issue is the leather strap that comes with this water resistant watch (to 100 metres) isn't really water friendly. After seeing how it looked after one shower I decided not to get it wet anymore until I found a way to make it water resistant as well. Pros: Simple, easy to use, keeps time and date well. Cons: Indigloo light doesn't illuminate the da/date area. Not a big deal since you normally don't need to know the date in the middle of the night...but still. Bigger issue is the leather strap that comes with this water resistant watch (to 100 metres) isn't really water friendly. After seeing how it looked after one shower I decided not to get it wet anymore until I found a way to make it water resistant as well.
