Really neet product for a smaller and lighter phone but I think my Duraforce Ultra would probably break it do to the weight of the phone plus the high center of gravity the phone would have sticking so far out the top. It also would bounch around quite a lot in the DVD player. Should be perfect for mom's smaller i-phone.

It is okay!
First off let me say this the concept is cool. However putting this into your CD slot and tightening it down so it stays secure is problematic. The pressure it puts on the CD deck can break your faceplate you can see It stressing and flexing whenever you go over a bump etc. I have not had my faceplate break yet. But personally it is a poor designed phone holder. Also if you have any type of protective case this will not hold it securely. I have a unicorn beetle case for my S8+ this will not hold it, the arms are to short and so is the pull down arm that holds the bottom of the phone. Without a case it works okay but the lower arm interferes with the plug in jacks on my phone and the microphone. Perfect fit and use
I was thinking about taking out my radio to upgrade to a navigation system, it was pretty expensive, and complicated. I have a Iphone that already has navigation, and amazon music w/ bluetooth. I tried it out in my 2011 Ford F-250 truck, through the SYNC system, it worked great. I could play music as well as the already installed goggle map on the phone. I just needed to now mount my phone. Most required drilling or such to the dashboard, I didn't want that. This was a perfect solution, and works great. If you want to play a CD, it removes within seconds. Holds securely, easy to use, good value
Installed in seconds and not hard to remove. Easy enough to use, though I had to tighten it several times the first week. It's a little awkward to reach behind for the release button, but not bad. I trust it to hold onto the phone securely, and it doesn't bounce much while driving. It's well built for the price - not quite as convenient as my dash-mount iOttie (which fell off when summer heat melted the adhesive!), but this is a great value. I'll probably go back to my regular mount in the cooler months, though. Fits my large phone with its case, no problem.Installed in seconds and not hard to remove. Great mount
I decided to purchase this because the first one I bought covered up an entire A/C vent and I wanted something more sturdy, too. This was perfect for my needs and I recommend this for anyone, especially if you use your phone as your stereo like I do

Useful Smart Phone Holder
Convenient smart phone holder. Excellent positioning using my vehicle's CD slot. Adjustable holder makes for great view-ability. Might be somewhat weak for phone's with heavy protection cases. Somewhat tight for plus-size phones. Overall, a good little holder.
