It fits well on sofa arm with a soft velvet lining that prevents slips and damage. Very elegant design and very simple. I find it easy to use and it certainly keeps my tea cup off the arm of the sofa. Hubby not so chuffed as he loves to doze on the sofa and he wakes up with a series of lines from the product on his face. That will teach him!
